Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of InterviewLab (the "Platform," "we," "us," or "our"), a proprietorship firm owned by Sangita Rajpurohit. By creating an account, booking a mock interview, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. What InterviewLab Provides
InterviewLab connects candidates preparing for bank and public-sector exams with interviewers for live mock interview sessions conducted over Google Meet, along with related preparation content and AI-assisted feedback on recorded sessions.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
- You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Platform.
3. Google Account Use and Meet Sessions
- Mock interviews are conducted using the personal Google accounts of the interviewer and candidate via Google Meet.
- By booking or conducting a session, you agree to allow that session to be recorded for the purposes described in Section 4.
- You are responsible for ensuring you have a working Google account and a stable connection to join your session; we are not responsible for issues arising from Google Meet's availability or your own account or device.
4. Recording and Use of Sessions
- Mock interview sessions are recorded with the express consent of both the interviewer and the candidate.
- Recordings are used to generate feedback and analysis for the candidate, to improve interviewer quality, and to improve the Platform's services.
- You may withdraw consent to recording only by not participating in a session; sessions are not conducted unrecorded.
- Candidates receive written feedback and analysis derived from their session; raw session recordings are not shared with candidates or interviewers as part of our current offering.
- Recordings and any analysis derived from them are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Interviewer Conduct
Interviewers are expected to conduct sessions professionally, provide genuine and constructive feedback, and treat all candidates respectfully. InterviewLab may remove interviewers from the Platform for conduct that violates these Terms.
6. Candidate Conduct
Candidates agree to:
- Attend booked sessions on time and behave respectfully toward interviewers.
- Use feedback and analysis for personal exam preparation only, not for redistribution or resale.
- Not attempt to record, download, or share sessions or feedback outside the Platform without permission from the other participant.
7. Payments and Cancellations
- Once a mock interview is booked and confirmed with an interviewer, it is non-refundable.
- If a session cannot go ahead due to a technical issue on the Platform, or an issue on the interviewer's side, we will offer to reschedule the session, subject to the interviewer's availability. We do not offer cash refunds in these cases.
- Candidates are responsible for joining sessions on time with a working device and internet connection; missed sessions due to candidate unavailability are not eligible for rescheduling or refund.
8. Intellectual Property
Content on the Platform — including blog content, prep material, and the Platform's own software and analysis methods — is owned by InterviewLab or its licensors. You may not copy, redistribute, or use it commercially without permission. You retain rights to your own submitted content, but grant us a license to use session recordings and derived analysis as described in Section 4 and our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
- InterviewLab provides mock interview practice and feedback as a preparation aid. We do not guarantee any exam result, interview outcome, or selection.
- AI-assisted analysis is provided for guidance and may not be fully accurate; use your judgment alongside interviewer feedback.
- The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, InterviewLab and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including issues arising from third-party services such as Google Meet.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion at any time.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
